Introducing Mithrola, a precious necklace knit with just 11 yards of stainless steel chain and glass beads. Together, they create a shimmering fabric that’s equal parts jewelry, armor, and conversation starter. Slip it on and prepare to feel protected and powerful!

Kits in EIGHT COLORS are available in my shop if you want to knit your own Mithrola!
The pattern is only available as part of the kit.

Mithrola was July 2026’s Lola’s Choice kit and members LOVED it! SIGN UP NOW if you don't want to miss out on future kits!

Inspired by the legendary Mithril armor from Tolkien’s Middle Earth, the name Mithrola is a blend of Elvish magic and a dash of Lola. Mith means “grey,” ril means “glitter” or “brilliance,” and, naturally, ola is a wink to yours truly.

Never knit with chain before? Don’t worry! We’ve created a step-by-step video tutorial that will guide you through every magical stitch. Before you know it, you’ll be transforming stainless steel chain into a dazzling piece of wearable art.
