Beadic Mitts are born from my love of fingerless gloves and colorwork knitting, only instead of using a contrasting yarn color to create a Nordic star on the back of your mitt, we’re using beads!

Beadic Mitts is September 2021’s Lola’s Choice kit… a few kits are still available, so if you want to sign up you’ll start with this kit! Sign Up for Lola’s Choice!

Starting at the cuff, these mitts are knit with John Arbon’s Exmoor Sock. This stunning fiber is hard wearing and easy to work with, making it perfect for fancy utilitarian mitts!

Beadic Mitts can be made fingerless OR with short fingers if you love your mitts to fit closer to your hand. Personally, I love the fit of mitts with short fingers, but they are definitely a bit more finicky to work! The thumb hole is created with an afterthought thumb, and the included chart and video will help you through the beadwork.

As with all my Lola's Choice designs the pattern is available individually and included in the kit.
