Worked from the center out, this shawl starts out log cabin style and grows into a generous, squishy wrap. And because I’m not about to make you pick up a zillion stitches, the log cabin construction uses Lola’s Pick Up Line to join each section. It’s Log is a satisfying combination of clever construction, short-row colorwork, shadow knitting and a little bit of Lola mischief. Once you get the hang of the technique, you’ll find yourself ADDICTED!

MC (main color)- 340 yds [311 m] sport or DK weight yarn
CC1 (contrast color 1)- 180 yds [165 m] sport or DK weight yarn
CC2 (contrast color 2)- 180 yds [165 m] sport or DK weight yarn
CC3 (contrast color 3)- 200 yds [183 m] sport or DK weight yarn

Ndl A- US Size 5 [3.75 mm] 36 inch [91 cm] or longer circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
Ndl B- One US Size 6 [4 mm] double pointed needle, or one size larger than needed to obtain gauge (or 3 stitch I-Cord tool)
Two 36 inch [91 cm] pieces of Stitch Saver
