Starry Light

Meet Starry Light, a cheer-full six-pointed luminary! Starry is just the thing to brighten up the dark winter months. This quick project is knit in the round from the center out using a 66 foot strand of LED fairy lights, and size 17 double pointed needles.

Come knit Starry Light with us in my Ravelry and Facebook Groups! Use the hashtag #knitstarrylight so others can find yours on the interwebs! I can’t wait to see them in all their glowy glory!

Knitting with LED lights is a welcome challenge. Just go with the flow of the light strand and you’ll get into the groove. On the last round aluminum wire is woven through the live stitches, and then finger blocked into shape. The pattern includes a detailed video tutorial to help you with the tricksy bits!
