This shawl is all that and more: Warm and cozy like a home, built to last, and keeping you looking fine.  Make this a study in color; try different color combinations to discover the best mortar for your bricks.  Brick House is based on an easily memorized brick eyelet pattern.  Started at the bottom, you have a chance to learn the pattern over a few stitches, increasing on each side as go you. As you get the hang of the pattern, it starts getting wider, quite addictive if I do say so myself!  Discover all the fun ways Brick House can be worn; to the front, down the back, over one shoulder....

Two 400 yard skeins of fingering weight yarn
1 US size 6 [4 mm] 32 inch or longer circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle
Stitch markers (optional)
One size F/3.75 mm crochet hook

Schaefer Yarn Audrey (50% merino wool SUPERWASH, 50% silk,15% nylon, 4 oz [113 g] / 700 yds [640 m]);
Color A: Spruce; 1 skein, Color B: Irene Sendler; 1 skein

Gauge
19 sts / 30  rows = 4” in pattern st blocked.
22 sts / 28 rows= 4” in st st, take time to check gauge.
