A striking garter stitch necklace, Butin requires only 20 yards of fingering weight yarn and is SO EASY you can make one in a night!  Beads are simply slipped up to form a “swag” of texture at the center of the piece.  This is knitted beaded jewelry at it’s easiest!  Kits available HERE!

Materials
Approx. 20 yards fingering weight yarn
YARN USED: Schaefer Yarn Audrey
   (50% merino wool, 50% silk; 4 oz / 700 yds)

US size 2 [2.75 mm] ndls or size needed to obtain gauge
Coordinating sewing thread and needle
3/4” 3 strand multistrand clasp
74 Size 8 glass beads (A)
32 Size 6 glass beads (B)
Dental Floss threader

Gauge
7.5 sts / 16 rows = 1” in garter stitch, blocked

Finished Measurements
16” around neck, easily adjusted, see notes.
