Peds- These top-down short socks begin with a fun little beaded “nugget” cuff! Designed to work with a smaller skein of sock yarn, wait until you see how fast and amusing they are to knit! 1 skein Peace Love & Yarn, Kestrel; 100% superwash merino wool; 1.7oz (50g)/ 210 yds (192m)
Super Floss
Approx 8 grams Size 6 round glass seed beads

Materials Needed
Peds-
1 set US Size 1 (2.25mm) double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

Mitts-
1 set US Size 2 (2.75mm) double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
1 set US Size 1.5 (2.5mm) double pointed needles, or one size smaller than needed to obtain gauge

Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Scrap yarn for stitch holder

Peds-
Choose a size about 1 inch [2.5cm] smaller around than your foot – sock should stretch to fit.
Foot circumference: 7 (7.5, 8) inches [18 (19, 20)cm] (to determine foot circumference measure around the ball of the foot)
Leg length: 1.5 inches (4cm) long
Foot length: adjustable to fit
Women’s Small (Large)
To fit 7 1/2 (8 1/4)” hand circumference
Mitts-
Women’s Small (Medium, Large)
Palm circumference: 7 (7.5, 8) inches [18, (19, 20) cm], unstretched.
Choose a size close to, or a little larger than, your palm circumference. Shown in Small
The pattern is written for multiple sizes. Instructions are given for size small, with larger sizes in parentheses.
