You get to try out Laura’s unique seamless side-to-side Novus Construction and make a sweet little baby sweater!
Baby Novus is a gender-neutral wrap sweater, easy to put on a baby and keep on! Baby Novus is knit in two halves, sleeve to neckline, and then joined in the back and side seams with garter stitch panels.*
As with all of Laura’s designs she has loads of tutorials to help you with the tricksy bits! The Novus construction is a blast, and this is a great way to check it out!
MATERIALS
290 (360, 410, 450) yds/ 265 (330, 375, 411) m of sport weight yarn

Quince & Co., Willet (100% certified Organic Cotton; 160 yd [146 m]/ 1.76 oz [50 g]); Rudder (3-6 month)
Rosy Green Wool, Cheeky Merino Joy (100% certified Organic Wool; 350 yd [320 m]/ 3.53 oz [100 g]); Arctic Sea (newborn)
US Size 3 [3.25 mm] 32-inch or longer circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge (sleeves and body)
Spare US Size 3 [3.25 mm] needle, or size needed to obtain gauge (for back)
2 US Size 3 [3.25 mm] double-pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge (I-Cord)
Tapestry needle
Scrap yarn and 3.25 mm crochet hook for provisional cast on
Stitch holders or scrap yarn for holding unworked sts
