Da Love is the perfect project to knit during KNIT FOR FOOD 2023!
I’m knitting Da Love’s to share with Lasagna Love volunteers… fill out this form to donate some of the Da Love’s you knit and you will be matched with a recipient! Way to spread DA LOVE!

If you haven't heard of Lasagna Love they are a global nonprofit and grassroots movement that aims to positively impact communities by connecting neighbors with neighbors through homemade meal delivery. Our aim is not only to help address the incredible rise in food insecurity among families, but also to provide an act of love and kindness. Our mission is simple: feed families, spread kindness, and strengthen communities.

Da Love is a heart shaped mitered square that can be knit as a dishcloth or a potholder.

You can work with fingering weight yarn held double, or worsted weight yarn held single. The pattern suggests cotton yarn for the dishcloth, and wool yarn for the potholder! If you are knitting the potholder make sure your gauge is dense so no hands are burned!

Yarn I Used:
Dishcloth- Sandnes Garn, Mandarin Petit, (100% Cotton; 197 yd 180 m/ 1.78 oz 50 g); held double, one ball makes two
