Vaya shrug is the perfect "go to" shrug for dressing up a tank or long sleeve shirt and for popping over a dress! Vaya is worked top-down, flat, and back and forth on a circular needle. Virtually seamless, all you need to sew is 2 small sleeve seams.... not so painful! One thing I LOVE about this shrug is how good it looks on a variety of body types. Materials Schaefer Yarn Anne (60% merino wool SUPERWASH, 25% mohair, 15% nylon; 4 oz [113 g] / 560 yds [512 m]) 1 skein US size 8 [5 mm] ndls or size needed to obtain gauge 2 US size 8 [5 mm] dpns or size needed to obtain gauge Tapestry ndl Lengths of smooth scrap yarn Stitch holders (optional)
Size One Size: the ties help fit the shrug to the wearer’s body!
Finished Measurement 40” chest, 16” long
Gauge 18 sts / 22 rows = 4” in st st blocked, take time to check gauge
