Aquifer
Aquifer is worked flat with a two color mosaic stitch. You start with a provisional cast on and work a simple rectangle. Aquifer is finished with a crochet edging that brings it together perfectly. You can choose to place beads on the Aquifer Stitch or not! Totally up to you!
Materials
1 Aquifer Kit by Spirit Trail Fiberworks for Laura Nelkin’s M Club
7 skeins Spirit Trail Fiberworks, Nona (50% merino/25% silk/25% cashmere; approx 100 yd / 18 gr per skein.
78 Size 6/0 glass seed beads [approx. 6 grams]
.8 mm crochet hook, Super Floss, or Beadle Needle for placing beads
1 US Size 6 (4mm) 24 inch or longer circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
1 4mm crochet hook
Scrap Yarn for Provisional Cast On
Tapestry needle
Kitchen scale, or other scale that weighs to the gram
Finished Measurements
Approx. 12 inches [30.5cm] wide by 72 inches [183cm] long
(aggressively blocked with wires)

22 sts x 28 rows = 4”/10 cm in St st, unblocked (with border color)
