For My Man

I knit these socks for not one, but two reasons: one, I wanted to make sure that one skein of Schaefer Yarn's Heather would yield a pair of men's socks; and two, I hadn't ever knit my man some socks! The zig-zagging knit-and-purl pattern is both in chart and written format. The sock is knit "traditionally" from the top down with a reinforced heel. These take a bit of time to knit, but I promise the recipient will be truly grateful!

Materials
Schaefer Yarn Heather (55% merino wool SUPERWASH, 30% silk, 15% nylon; 400 yards [366 m] 4 oz [112 g]), 1 skein, or other fingering weight socks yarn

Set of US Size 1 [2.25 mm] dpns or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge
30 sts / 42 rows = 4" in st st

To Fit
Men’s Medium/Large, shoe size 10½ - 11½
