Chronos is a classic timepiece, worn as a cuff or necklace, that lets everyone know exactly what time it is… knittin’ time!

Chronos features a centered beaded medallion, worked by covering a hammered ring with yarn and then knitting the center design incorporating the beads. The straps flow off the ring and are worked with pre-strung beads slipped in between stitches. Chronos is finished with a sliding silicone-lined bead that makes your cuff and necklace adjustable!
If you are working from a kit, your supplies will make either the cuff or the necklace.

16 yards [15 meters] of 5/2 100% mercerized perle cotton
2 US Size 1 [2.25 mm] needles
2 mm crochet hook (for wrapping ring)
Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
Approx. 2 g each Size 8 glass seed beads (three colors)
1.25 inch [3 cm] hammered metal ring
1 silicone slide bead
1 dental floss threader (for stringing beads)
25 inches [64 cm] 10 lb Fireline (beading wire)
Japanese beading needle
Tweezers (optional)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Cuff- 5.75 - 9 inches [15 - 23 cm] around, easily adjustable
Necklace- 25 inches [64 cm] around, easily adjustable by sliding clasp

10 rows = 1 inch [2.5 cm] of beaded strand, blocked
