In Morroco, a Jali screen is a perforated stone or latticed screen that is highly decorated in ornamental patterns. I’ve taken that concept and applied it to this shawl and cuff set. The center of the shawl has an elaborate beaded feather and fan stitch. This center radiates out to each wing with a super simple eyelet stitch.

Start with the cuff, which will teach you how to work integrated i-cord edges and the beaded stitch used in the shawl. Once you have the concept down, it is time to cast on for your shawl!
The pattern includes link to video tutorials as well!
